In conjunction with Broadband Taiwan, Taitronics presents the 38th annual Taipei International Electronics Show during Fall 2012 at the TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall. This show has grown over the years to combine several shows and exhibitions of consumer and manufacturer (OEM) electronics and related items. LED lighting and lamp components composed of unbreakable solid state devices and/or hybrid devices using legacy technology with advanced lighting systems represent a $6+ billion production value that hit a high in 2011. Taiwan and Asian manufacturers are pushing the envelope with higher quality, more competitive thermolysis and lighting. With incandescent lighting falling out of favor all over the world for various reasons this sector is predicted to grow by leaps and bounds in the next few years. Safety products and security/surveillance products will be a high priority at this years convention. Taiwan producers are adept at taking customization orders and working with off-shore customers to meet their needs quickly and efficiently. Trendy products, prototyping and conceptual designs offer little challenge to advanced manufacturing in Asian plants.

The communication industry is boomin a Taiwan-brand smartphones sell like never before. This trend is bound to continue with telecommunications operators continuing to upgrade Switch, IP STB, DSL CPE and promote IPTV services.
